Inspired by the Sebastian Professional team’s travels, the brand’s latest collection, Urban Explorers, draws inspiration from four global cities for unexpected style that’s one of a kind.

Sebastian Professional’s Urban Explorers takes hair on a trip around the world, pulling inspiration from the style, culture, lifestyle and architecture of Berlin, Shanghai, Sao Paulo and San Francisco. “We picked those four cities because they have a slightly raw feel to them—an element we could expose in the hair,” Sebastian Professional global artistic director Shay Dempsey explains. “Anyone can pick the usual suspects when it comes to cities (New York, Paris, London, Milan), but Sebastian wanted to find more alternative styles,”

Despite being rooted in four distinct locations, these looks are unique in their own right and will surely help shape the trends of the season. “As a photographer, curator, designer and stylist, I have always been inspired by boundary-pushing cultures and style influences of international cities,” Sebastian Professional visionary Seema Hamid shares. “It’s been an amazing opportunity to work with Sebastian Professional and curate for them. This campaign takes you on a journey through four alternative cities of versatile style and gives you the inspiration to create the most edgy looks.”
