Top Beauty Brands Exhibit on the Show Floor
The show floor at the Javits Center was filled with top hair and beauty brands, showcasing their fan-favorite products and new launches.

Plenty of shear brands were also on the show floor, such as Hattori Hanzo Shears, KARG, Shark Fin Shears and Sensei Shear Systems. With fringe, bobs and pixies all being popular, trending cuts that are not going anywhere anytime soon, it's important to invest in a proper pair of shears. Stay tuned for our July/August issue, where Managing Editor Gabby Bach will recommend go-to options!
Lisap Milano was in attendance, showcasing its line of hair care and color products, including its soon-to-be-released Filter Duos Color. The Healthy Color showcased its CBD-infused permanent hair color line, designed to enhance the coloring experience for clients with sensitive scalps. By reducing pain, swelling and redness often associated with the process, this product places a strong emphasis on scalp care and hair health during coloring.
New, innovative brands also had a space on the show floor. Pixie Heat shared its hair oil and wireless styling tool for short cuts, created by founder Kindra Wright-Horn. Named after her daughter, Jessica Merlino Urzua showcased the Sisi Spray N' Style, a brush with a built-in spray bottle handle. The brush makes detangling a breeze, eliminating tears and discomfort for young children. The spray bottle handle is also TSA-approved, making it a perfect choice for the traveling stylist. The Sensory Safe Solution brought its team to the show floor to educate on how beauty professionals can better serve the autism community and those with sensory differences through its elevated curriculum.
Show Floor Presentations
The show floor contained two stages where attendees could listen to panels and watch live demos featuring the latest trends and innovative launches in the industry.
At the Glam & Go Stage, Nicky Clarke Master Stylists Drew Noreen (@drewjnoreen) and Tianna D. (@glitterdynsty_) had two presentations where they used the AirStyle PRO to create gorgeous, vintage Hollywood waves and the InfraRed PRO Straightener for a glossy silk press. The duo also shared valuable styling tips based on their experiences leading New York Fashion Week as key hairstylists.
Rodrick Samuels (@rodricksamuels) moderated conversations at the Powerhouse Pavilion about diversity, equity and inclusion, mental health, finances and more. The Pavilion served as a space to uplift Black barbers, hair professionals and educators in the industry. One panel featured Texture vs Race Founder Keya Neal (@keyaartistically) and The Doux's Maya Smith (@ouidoux) as they discussed the impact of DEI rollbacks in the beauty industry and how they impact Black-owned beauty brands, salon operations, professional training and product development and access.
Classroom Education
If attendees wanted more in-depth education, they could attend hands-on workshops and master classes or a conference session included free with their exhibit hall pass.
Bridal stylists KellGrace (@kellgrace) and Lynn Levesque (@limitlesshairbylynn) shared tips and tricks for building your bridal business and clientele and creating quick updo styles to showcase to prospective clients.
On the business side of the industry, Nina Tulio (@ninatulio) shared insights on implementing innovative leadership strategies to help salon owners foster trust within their teams and build a culture that attracts and keeps stylists in the salon. Her approach empowers businesses to take a fresh perspective on leadership to achieve profitability with greater ease and clarity. Dawn Bradley (@dawnbradley) helped stylists confidently enforce their policies, double their income and overcome anxiety in the industry through her classes throughout the weekend.
Wayne Tuggle (@waynetugglehair), Collin Martin (@collinmartin_hair), Dominique Lyvar (@kingdomofcurls_) and Willy Hyde (@willyhyde) all shared their tips to help your confidence in cutting soar. From texture inclusive hair cutting to mastering the perfect bob and understanding head shape cutting, there was plenty to learn to master the art of the cut!
The hair care industry continues to thrive as a rapidly growing market. On the show floor and in the classroom, Zenagen's team provided attendees with the knowledge and tools they need to address hair loss, offering insights on how to assess it in clients, recommend effective treatments and seamlessly incorporate these solutions into personalized hair care routines.
