For the 11th year, the 2025 Hairbrained Awards (HBAs) shined a spotlight on the most talented and innovative artists in the professional hair industry. Held on March 23 at the Rumi Event Space in New York City, the HBAs brought together hundreds of top community hairdressers to honor creativity, craftsmanship and excellence in hairdressing.
Before the awards, Hairbrained hosted the Hb Sessions, designed to provide immersive education and inspiration. The energy from the sessions carried directly into the HBAs, making for a day of learning, connection and celebration.
"This year's Hairbrained Awards were truly remarkable," says Gerard Scarpaci, Hairbrained Co-Founder. "The talent and artistry displayed across all categories were inspiring, making it an incredibly tough competition. We congratulate all of our winners and finalists and look forward to seeing how their work continues to shape the industry. We're already excited for next year's event."
