Behind the Scenes of OLAPLEX's New Chapter
In the beginning of February, Beauty Launchpad was invited to an exclusive two-day event that brought OLAPLEX's Global Ambassadors and Pro Collective together as they celebrated the brand's new era. This one-of-a-kind event highlighted the strong sense of community OLAPLEX has fostered among its hair professionals, who enthusiastically came together to collaborate, exchange ideas and teach each other new skills to help them grow and improve their craft.
On the first day of the event, held at Art + Science Salon in Chicago's West Loop, the brand's Global Ambassadors — Halley Brisker, Christin Brown, Tracey Cunningham, Jenna Perry and Jacob Schwartz — shared invaluable cut, color and styling tips and techniques that have allowed them to become some of the most sought-out names in the industry. They also revealed how they incorporate OLAPLEX’s signature products into their services to help their celebrity clients achieve healthy, luxurious hair.
On the second day of the event, each of the Pro Collective members were paired with a model for a healthy hair challenge that allowed them to put their skills on display to create stunning hair transformations using OLAPLEX products. The salon was abuzz with sounds of hot tools, sinks running at shampoo bowls, shears snipping and color being mixed and applied. Once the stylists were finished transforming their models, they got to showcase their final looks, giving a look into their process and what OLAPLEX products they used throughout the service.
