OLAPLEX, the innovative, science-enabled, and technology-driven haircare company, celebrated the launch of its brand new patented Bond Shaping Technology with an exclusive cocktail party at the Four Seasons Las Vegas during Cosmoprof Las Vegas, and Beauty Launchpad was in attendance!
The event spotlighted the brand's two new product offerings, which each feature Bond Shaping Technology: a 3-step Bond Shaper Curl Rebuilding Treatment and No.10 Bond Shaper Curl Defining Gel.
Three of OLAPLEX's team members took the stage for a panel to discuss what the launch entailed, its benefits for customers and how the launch impacts the pro community.
"It's about redefining and rebuilding the curl pattern for natural waves, curls and coils," Betsy Hamlett, Head of NA Pro Sales explained. "It's a very simple 3-step service that allows stylists to really bring damaged and tired or distressed curls back to life. This is really exciting for us because it's that fusion of all that great tech and innovation that we're known for, taking all new technology and really bringing it to a category were really excited about."
"Coming out of cosmetology school, there's a lot of things that people don't know about curly hair. They're having to do continued education, they're having to look on YouTube university," added OLAPLEX Global Ambassador Christin Brown. "They now need to go out and be their best advocate for themselves, but to put something in their hands to say 'we thought about you' with education, with technology is really powerful."
After the panel wrapped up, attendees could see the new technology in action, as Coko Taft, OLAPLEX Regional Education Manager, demoed the 3-step Bond Shaper Curl Rebuilding Treatment before its official launch on Aug. 26.
There was also plenty of opportunity to mingle, with cocktails and treats being provided for attendees!
"The thing that has sort of surprised me in the best possible way was falling in love with the hair industry because of how deep and profound our relationship is with our hair and how that comes to life," said OLAPLEX CEO Amanda Baldwin. "I think that's our purpose at the end of the day and why we do all of this."
