Fiery reds are cooled by tones of violet and icy blonde in Burning Ice. Tang used Joico Vero K-PAK Color 5RM (red mahogany) as the base color, then shot it through with streaks of Joico VeroULTRA—a one-step lift and deposit formula that works in 30 minutes—in red, copper and red mahogany. Additional prelightened slices, toned with Joico Vero K-PAK TBB (beige blonde) with 10-volume developer, completed the composition.
