The top three most popular hair services were:
- Cut and Color
- Frontal Wig Install
- Glaze
The three fastest growing services are:
- Hair Gloss with a 209% growth
- Blowout with a 121% growth
- Scalp Detox with an 88% growth
Favorite Trend of 2024
With clients wanting more affordable options that allow them to extend their time in-between salon visits, it's no surprise that lived-in color was named GlossGenius' Favorite Trend of 2024.
Other honorable hair trends included Cowboy Copper and Scalp Treatments.
Most Requested Celebrity Inspo
When clients enter the salon for their hair appointment, they likely bring inspo pictures. While the cut, color or style could be something they found on Pinterest, it's more likely that a celebrity or public figure is influencing what look they want to emulate.
