Pop princess Sabrina Carpenter is releasing her new album "Short n' Sweet" on August 23! With the massive success of her first two singles off of the album "Espresso" and "Please Please Please," it's no surprise that clients want to rock her iconic fringe bangs. Ellie Stommel (@thebangsbabe) recently shared with us that Carpenter is the face behind many of the inspo pics clients bring into her salon. Sam Villa Ambassador Jamie McDaniel (@jamiemcdhair) has also been getting a lot of requests for Sabrina Carpenter bangs. “Sabrina Carpenter’s fringe has a little framing action around the eyes; however, it’s not as extreme as we’ve been seeing lately,” says McDaniel. “The other things is, the bangs aren’t overly textured, there’s a bit more bluntness to the ends.” Below, McDaniel shares how to cut fringe bangs just like Carpenter's!

Sabrina Carpenter's Fringe Bangs
Cut:
Create a triangle section where the fringe lives from the outside corner of each eye.
Divide left from right.
Overdirect left to right and right to left with no elevation and a horizontal finger position.
Point cut with slide cutting shears for a soft finish on the ends.
“This overdirection movement is perfect for creating that framing around the eyes that we’re looking for,” says McDaniel.
Styling: There are two ways to approach the strong bevel Carpenter has.
Blow dry hair using a blow dryer of your choice and a round brush, making sure the hair curls around the barrel. Hit it with a cool shot once all the moisture is out to lock in the bend.
Run a flat iron through the fringe and encourage around the thermal round brush while it is cooling down to encourage bend.
“The beauty is, this fringe can be pushed to either side or worn straight down,” she adds.
