Beauty Launchpad (BLP): What is a fun fact about you?
Brittney Aub (BA): I used to be a cheerleader/dancer all throughout my school years.
BLP: What is your proudest accomplishment?
BA: Providing a luxury space for all textures to be highlighted. I take pride in BB and creating a welcoming environment for all clients.
BLP: What is your current favorite hairstyle trend?
BA: I’m loving the lived-in, effortless-looking curly look with minimal definition.
BLP: What is a hair tip you have for your fellow stylists?
BA: Implement consultations in your services to really listen to the clients wants and needs to execute their goals and manage expectations.
BLP: What do you love about your work?
BA: I love being able to make people feel beautiful and confident with their natural hair. It’s the most rewarding feeling to see clients feeling like a baddie leaving the salon.
BLP: What motivates you about the industry you are in?
BA: The constant evolution and creativity of natural hair in the industry keeps me inspired and motivated to continue learning and growing as a stylist.
BLP: What is a professional goal you have for yourself?
BA: To expand my salon and offer virtual education and mentorship opportunities for other aspiring stylists worldwide!
