How-To: Angela Bassett's Timeless Curls

Best Supporting Actress nominee Angela Bassett looked stunning on Academy Awards night. 

Her hair was styled by celebrity hairstylist Randy Stodghill (@hairjunkierandy) using tools from Olivia Garden. 

Stodghill said he was inspired to create a "timeless" look for Bassett for the event.

How-To: 

1. To achieve this timeless look, start by brushing out the hair with the Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion XL Pro Paddle Brush to have a tangle-free base.
2. Then, dry the hair with the NEW Olivia Garden Super HP Hair Dryer until it is damp.
3. To create a really voluminous look, use the Olivia Garden NanoThermal Power Grip 1 3⁄4 Brush, which pairs perfectly with the powerful blow dryer.
4. Once the hair is totally dry, begin to curl with the Olivia Garden Titanium + Ion 1.25” Curling Iron to add curl definition, pinning each curl to cool as you go. 
5. After the curls finished setting, use Olivia Garden Ceramic + Ion Supreme & Styler, brushing the hair until the waves are smooth and set in place.
6. Finish the look off by using the Olivia Garden Super HP Hair Dryer again with the diffuser attachment to seal the look.
