Coquette aesthetic and balletcore have been defining fashion and beauty trends, and a staple of both is bows! When you are shopping, you may notice the accessory making a more frequent appearance on shelves. They add a perfect touch to any look, and a perfect for the holiday season. Bridal hair business owner, educator and Salon Centric's It Takes a Pro team member Alexandra Wilson (@alexandralee1016) took inspiration from the oversized hair bow trend to create this hair look that sure to turn heads at any holiday party.
Split the hair in half horizontally.
Secure the bottom half into a low chignon.
Take a small 1' section out of the center of your top section and temporarily clip them towards the bottom.
Crisscross your back two sections, create two loops with elastics, fan out and pin.
Using a topsy tail tool, take your last small middle section and bring it over the center of chignon, finishing the bow.
(Optional) Curl or flat iron hanging pieces.
"I absolutely love everything with bows, and I figured what's more festive than a cute holiday hair bow with some glitter? The holiday season is full of events, and this style would be the perfect to wear to any of them," Wilson shares.
