How-To: NYFW Hair Living Proof x LoveShackFancy

At LoveShackFancy show at NYFW, flirtatious, coquette-inspired hair ruled the runway.

Stylist Brent Lawler (@brentlawler) used some of Living Proof’s most-loved, science-backed styling products to create hair that nods to Parisian nights, embracing natural textures – topped with a bow, of course. 

“Fall 2024 is all about the bow, Parisian nights, and fully living for the moment! Inspired by the glitz of Paris in the '20s, we've turned up the dream and drama this season," LoveShackFancy Founder Rebecca Hessel Cohen shares. 

Follow the step-by-step tutorial below to recreate the look seen on the runway. 

How-To: 

1. Starting with dry hair, apply Living Proof Full Texturizing Foam from roots to ends to enhance natural texture. Blow dry and diffuse into hair, over directing the front for organic volume.
2. Using a flat iron or curling iron, perfect any waves or curls and secure with Living Proof StyleLab Flex Hairspray.
3. Spray Living Proof Dry Volume & Texture Spray to enhance texture and provide a light hold.
4. Pull hair back, using a center part for some, to make a half-up from the ear, securing a smooth style near the top of the head with French pins to make a flat surface for the bow. Spray with Living Proof StyleLab Control Hairspray to secure.
5. Place and secure bow to the surface. Pull out front pieces for a textured face frame.
6. Finish the look with Living Proof frizz Instant De-Frizzer for smooth, shiny hair.
