ikoo, a leader in the European hair market, has made its debut in the United States via an exclusive partnership with the Sally Beauty Holdings Salon Professional Segment, Systems Beauty Group, launching a full line of brushes, thermal tools, hair masks, shampoos and conditioners.
Cofounders Christopher and Katrin Von Hallwyl combined their unique skill sets to create ikoo. Christopher was inspired by his innovative design experience working at Porsche in New York City, while Katrin’s love for creating beautiful things became finely honed during almost a decade of co-directing a company that supplied accessories for luxury private jets.

“We make tools that not only look beautiful, but are high-performing and innovating the way people see hair products,” says Christopher. Beyond superior craftmanship, all of ikoo's products are designed to have their own “Freelosophy.”
“Our ‘Freelosophy’ centers on the belief that innovation does not stop with design or form, but is also reflected in the ingredients used to formulate products,” says Katrin. “ikoo seeks to create products that do not harm humans and animals, insects included–which is why all of our products are cruelty-free and PETA-approved.”
