Met Ball 2012: Marion Cotillard

Marion Cotillard looked striking at the 2012 Met Ball Costume Institute Gala wearing a rich, wine-colored Dior gown and a dramatic, modern updo styled by celebrity stylist and Moroccanoil Global Brand Ambassador, Robert Vetica. Inspired by the sci-fi thriller, Blade Runner, the chic modern look featured short bangs with smoothed hair pulled back by Vetica into a loose, deconstructed French twist.

How The Look Was Created:

Stylist Robert Vetica explains, "I started by blow drying Marion’s hair smooth with a large round brush for natural volume. Next, I pulled all the hair to the back and created a loose French twist. I then scrunched and deconstructed the texture of the twist with my fingers and then pinned the effect in place. Finally, I sprayed Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong on the entire style for a natural-looking hold."
