"Forget Me Knot" by Detra Smith

Detra Smith, Olivia Garden educator, has released a hair photo collection dubbed, "Forget Me Knot."

The inspiration for the compilation came from the desire to share quick and easy styling techniques.

The compilation features five looks:

Look 1

Hair was strategically twisted into loose knots to create a halo effect. Curls were left around the face and neck for a soft, feminine feel.

Look 2

The curls were pinned up and stretched into a triangular shape. A mane moisturizer and setting spray were used to soften the curls, nix frizz and set the shape.

Hair was smoothed tightly into a ponytail. It was then stretched and manipulated through the openings of twisted elastics.

Hair was pinned into a classic "Gibson Girl" style. The front section was laid over the face and knotted for a contemporary effect.
