If you have just finished school and are now looking to begin your career, it is essential to have a complete head to toe appearance that is professional, but still fashionable. When interviewing or showing up for the first day of a new position, your appearance can dictate what sort of first impression you make. Joico International Artistic Director Damien Carney created soft layers for a recent grad, with broken up edges and fringe to give limp, casual hair a shape that appears styled rather than sloppy. On a similar note, actress Ashley Madekwe of Revenge helped to find a well-tailored blazer that can be paired with jeans, slacks, or a skirt.
