International educator and Boston-based Salon Beau owner Sean Michael specializes in blondes, dimensional color and all-things business.
Partnered with industry leaders like Product Club as their creative ambassador, Oligo as an artist and Olivia Garden as an ambassador, Michael has been named one of Beauty Launchpad’s Top 30 Under 30 Colorists and presented with numerous Boston-based awards, which lead him to his first celebrity client, Machine Gun Kelly.

At age 23, he took a leap of faith and opened Salon Beau. Michael was one of the first in his area to change the salon business model and specialize in specific services like blondes and balayage.
With more than a decade of industry experience, one of the artist’s greatest accomplishments was the Giving Back Hair Show. “This virtual show (which was the first of its kind) took place during peak quarantine last year,” says Michael. “With low hope and high anxiety, I reached out to industry educator friends to give back.” As a result, nine educators from all over the world hosted nine Zoom courses in three days for the virtual show. “With the overwhelming number of students craving education, I created an Instagram and private Facebook group to continue giving back,” says Michael.
