Samson’s Haircare Matte Styling Cream

Samson's Haircare has launched Foster the Curl Crème for ultra-versatile short hair styling.

Foster the Curl is a low shine, light hold, protein-packed cream that defines and holds curls while nourishing hair.

Jake Hamlet and Adam Muncy, founders of Samson's Haircare, decided to donate a portion of proceeds from Foster the Curl to Foster the Family, a nonprofit whose mission is to provide necessary self-care goods for Black and multicultural children in the foster care system.

Samson's Haircare has partnered with Foster the Family to provide leave-in, bonnets, wave caps, wide-tooth combs, cocoa butter, moisturizers and education in the first 24 hours of a new foster care placement, until a salon professional can come along to provide support and mentorship. 

"As business owners, we felt horribly frustrated that our products could not serve families as we tend to focus on men's products," shares Muncy. "[Jake and I are] both foster parents of children with textured hair, and wanted to create something the entire family could use. So, we decided to pay it forward in the foster community with our Foster the Curl Crème."
