LOS ANGELES Today, Cécred and the BeyGOOD Foundation launch the third year of the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, prioritizing and deepening their investment for the education of future hair professionals. Founded by Mrs. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, both Cécred and the BeyGOOD Foundation are committed to cultivating and uplifting the future leaders of the hair industry.

The 2026 Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund is proud to offer 10 institutions a grant of $25,000 each, totaling a $250,000 commitment across both the United States and the United Kingdom. The recipients will be selected and awarded funding based on enrollment at the partner school, their track to graduate, demonstrated financial need, and passion and purpose.

Since its launch in 2024, the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund has awarded $1 million in student scholarships and salon business grants, across 133 students and salon owners. This year, the Fund aims to award an increased number of schools—10 total—to concentrate resources and prioritize the academic journey of students and aspiring cosmetologists. These grants provide vital tuition support to keep beauty school affordable.

"As a licensed cosmetologist and former salon owner, I’ll never forget my own beginnings at Franklin School and the pure passion it takes to succeed in this craft," said Ms. Tina Knowles, Cécred’s Vice Chairwoman and Chair of the Board of Directors at BeyGOOD Foundation. "Today, the cost of tuition, tools, and equipment is hitting record highs, making it harder for aspiring cosmetologists to afford their education. By expanding our grants from five to ten schools this year, we are providing vital financial support so these talented students can focus on their training and pursue their passions. We are committed to uplifting the next generation of hair professionals and giving them the tuition support they need.”

For the first time, BeyGOOD expands its commitment beyond direct funding by implementing a comprehensive support and tracking system for its partners and scholarship recipients. The program will monitor key milestones, including graduation, licensure results, and job placement, to measure the Fund’s real-world impact. Additionally, BeyGOOD aims to foster a lasting community through professional development and virtual gatherings, ensuring students have the mentorship and visibility needed to thrive long after their scholarship ends.

"At Cécred, we think deeply about the ecosystem that shapes a stylist’s career, from education to career growth," said Grace Ray, CEO at Cécred. "Expanding the fund to 10 partner schools across the US and UK allows us to focus on making an impact here in a more sustained way. We're supporting students as they build confidence and community in this industry and help ensure that the future of hair is as diverse and dynamic as the communities it serves."
