StyleSeat reviewed Yelp data in more than 30 beauty- and spa-related categories and compared the average star rating to the average price level to determine which major U.S. cities provide the best-value beauty services for their dollar.
To create this ranking, StyleSeat calculated a combined ranking of cities with a low price level and high rating across all beauty categories, with price levels being weighed heavier than average star ratings.

- Pittsburgh

While Salt Lake City may top the list with the lowest average price level for the highest-quality treatment, Pittsburgh boasts the lowest average price level for beauty services across the country. The most expensive cities are New Orleans, Las Vegas and Dallas.
StyleSeat also used this data to look specifically at businesses that offer hair and spa services.

Despite being an otherwise expensive city for beauty, Las Vegas has the lowest average price level for hair services across the country.

Las Vegas also tops this list, with an average four-star experience for the lowest price level on Yelp.
These rankings can help beauty consumers and beauty professionals find high-quality beauty services that fit into their lives and cater to their needs.
