Paris Fashion Week: Barbara Bui F/W 2015

ney for Moroccanoil created loose, broke waves for Barbara Bui.

Inspiration from the designer:
“The romance of the long silhouette reinforces the energy of the sexy rock look in this collection. Dense and deep ultramarine and black colors contrast with the luminosity of sky blue and the sparkle of metal.  The collection was a contrast between romance and sexy attitude; a desire to express the power and the sensibility of women.” - Barbara Bui.

The Hair Look:
“The idea behind the hair for Barbara Bui was to progress from the rock chick that has dominated the scene for so long, while still maintaining a natural look. Cim Mahony created “the girl who walks out the door, wearing a natural ‘undone’ hair style, but super cool.”

How to Create the Look:

  • On freshly washed hair, apply Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to moisturize the hair and keep a natural, healthy-looking wavy style.
  • For thicker hair that needs extra hold, apply Moroccanoil Molding Cream to help achieve a messy, textured effect.
  • Rough blow dry hair with fingertips and then, once fully dry, use a large barrel curling wand to curl sections of hair in opposite directions.  This will create broken waves and tousled texture.
  • Finish with a mist of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium to hold the shape.
