The Global art.Fashion.HAIR Show, now in its 12th year, is an annual runway hair and fashion show in Traverse City, MI that benefits the Women's Resource Center in the Grand Traverse Area. The show, which emulates the high-fashion feel of New York Fashion Week, featured fashion from local clothiers including What to Wear, Spirals, Lola’s, Relish, Lima Bean, Ashleigh’s and Adventure North, and hair creations from nearby salons and artists including Imprés Salon Spa, Salon Verve, Signature Salon, Spa Grand Traverse, Cindy Toranzo, and La Fleur Couture, a local florist who makes runway design out of flowers. The participating salons were encouraged to take an avant-garde approach to this year's theme, "Masquerade," resulting in an array of towering, creative, and awe-inspiring looks.
Proceeds from Global art.Fashion.HAIR Show 2013 exceeded $10,000, and were donated to the Women's Resource Center in the Grand Traverse Area. For more information on Global, please visit their Facebook page.
