Stylists Giving Back: A Day of Haircuts at the Village of Hope

Recently, Tim Telles, owner of Tribeca Salon, along with his brother Wayne Telles, owner of Family Afhair in Whittier and mother Terry Telles offered their services to their community by spending their day off cutting and coloring hair at The Village of Hope on Tustin in Orange County, CA. Tim's salon Tribeca has a 4-chair salon space at the transitional housing facility to serve the 190 men, women and children who live there. At "86-years-young," Terry has her beauty license, and joined her sons in giving back to the residents of The Village of Hope. She performed scalp manipulations and shampoos while Tim and Wayne cut and colored hair.

The Valley of Hope offers a place where those who are struggling can get back on their feet. If you are in the Orange County area, and would like to volunteer at The Valley of Hope, you can do so by visiting their website, downloading volunteer forms and setting up an appointment to tour the property.
