Create the Wet Hair Look

Celebrity stylist David Harrington offers tips from this "wet" editorial shoot with photographer Rachel Jeraffi!

Ever want to create that "wet look" for a photo shoot? Celebrity stylist David Harrington shares how to achieve this effect!

David explains, "For the wet look, I wet the hair and applied Kevin Murphy Body Guard to hydrate the hair. Once the hair was combed out and in place, water was sprayed on the hair to keep the wet look working. I was also pouring water on the model for the shoot. I love the look we got out of the shoot."

Being a session stylist, David is always looking for different products or ways to achieve a long lasting look. He is also always thinking about the condition of the models hair. For this shoot David prepped the hair with Kevin Murphy Young Again treatment. David says, "I find when I use this on long hair to put up, it not only conditions the hair, but I also get a very smooth and shiny look out of the hair. This makes it very easy to pull the hair back to create a bun or any type of look."
