With the holidays nearly upon us, reflection and appreciation are the words sparking the most conversation as we look to close out another year. 2025 has been exceptional for growth in the professional industry, from creative manicures on NFL players and standout hair accessories (with coordinated Labubus...Labubi?) at the U.S. Open; the work of talented beauty professionals stretches far and wide. The industry continues to watch hair shows level up through music and production, while celebrity red carpet looks are using creative and bold manicures to raise the bar. Hair and nails are reaching new heights in inclusion and sustainability as professionals and brands team up to create new initiatives across gender, texture, and clean beauty. Though the 2025 stage was set with new challenges, it also provided new opportunities that salon owners and solo professionals alike have used to maintain their edge through community and innovation.
While putting together the final issue of the year, I’ve put a lot of thought into what Beauty Launchpad needs to be to keep up with our professional audience, to continue to show up in a way that is practical, thoughtful, and resonant. The answer I’ve found so far is to continue to highlight the exceptional, creative and business-minded professionals that make up this industry. In 2026 we plan to be more intentional about the tools we’re providing through our web, social, and print channels by getting a little more technical. I look forward to continuing Beauty Launchpad’s legacy as your partner through the beauty industry by bringing you more of what you love in news, stories, and event coverage.
A special thanks to the team, advisors and contributing authors for their patience and support in helping me put together this issue, and the end the year strong.
Until next year,
