TLC has a little Sarah Palin obsession. First the network aired a reality show about Sarah Palin's life called "Sarah Palin's Alaska". Now the channel announced it will air a two-part series about the salon credited for styling Palin's hair, The Beehive.
According to Reuters a news release confirmed a new show that "goes inside a busy hair salon in Wasilla, Alaska, where the personalities of the owner and her staff are as big as the hairstyles they create." The release did not name the salon. However, Beehive owner Jessica Steele wrote on the salon's Facebook page, "TLC just announced their fall lineup, and we are on it!!!! Our show is called Big Hair Alaska!!!! Omg!!! It's really happening!!!! :)."
