Runway Report: Céline at Paris AW 2013

Redken Creative Consultant Guido created classy look for the Céline show in Paris. The style had an added 'fashion edge,' as Guido likes to say, or a certain nuance or extra detail that ultimately tied the hairstyle back to each designer's idea of how the type of woman they create for would wear her hair with it's respective Fall 2013 collection.

Create the Look:

Starting with damp hair, apply Redken guts 10 root targeted volume spray foam to just the roots and crown and then Redken satinwear 02 prepping blow dry lotion on lengths to ends. Blow dry straight back with a large round boar bristle brush (no part). Gather into a low pony, secure with an elastic and double the ponytail up to create a loop by twisting the end of the pony up into the elastic.

"This low pony has a beautiful rich texture and a little volume in the crown. What gives it its 'fashion edge' is how I doubled the ponytail over in the elastic so it's shorter, and some pieces will fall out a little and that's part of it. It's also very dramatic from the front because its all straight back and away from face, and I'm adding some Redken fashion work 12 versatile working spray, which is a flexible hold spray, right at the end just to help keep it off the face." -Guido, Redken Creative Consultant
