French Bohemian is the inspiration behind this elegant look for Uma Thurman's Los Angeles Premiere of "Ceremony."
To achieve, David Babaii prepared Uma's freshly washed and conditioned hair by massaging a dime size amount of Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment into her tresses from roots to ends, combing it through with a wide tooth comb for even distribution. Next, he used a blow dryer to dry the hair with a large round brush, lifting the root area for added volume and cupping the ends under for a smooth, rounded finish. After drying, he applied an additional amount of Pequi Oil for control and then loosely gathered the hair with his fingers and braiding it into a long, loose braid down the center back. He secured it with a rubber band while leaving the shorter top and side layers free. To finish, David created soft loose curls with a 1 ½" curling iron by taking large sections and wrapping them around the inside barrel, holding for a few seconds. He then released allowing the curls to fall naturally to achieve a true French Bohemian look.
