Backstage Beauty: Rachel Roy Fall 2012

For Rachel Roy’s Fall 2012 showcase, stylist Ted Gibson created a 70s look based off of Rachel’s “woman from the dirt” inspiration. “This girl is very modern, urban and deliberate. The center part and bone straight hair reflect the architecture and directness of the city.” To create this look, Ted began with a deep center part, then blow dried the hair in ¼ sections using Ted Gibson Build It Blow Drying Agent to take the volume out of the hair. Next, he bluntly trimmed the ends, then flat ironed the hair bone straight. He finished the look with Ted Gibson Beautiful Hold Hair Spray.
