Hairstyles Before and After: From Ordinary to Edgy

Fantastic Sam's stylist Cortney Mize transformed her client Teresa's hair from ordinary to edgy with bursts of fun color, a ton of short layers, and a shaggy, texturized fringe. To create this standout style, Cortney first applied mousse and thermal protectant to Teresa's strands. She then blow dried Teresa's hair while using a round brush to create volume on top. To finish the look, Cortney used styling paste and pomade as needed to piece through the hair and finger-style it into place in order to create a casual-cool look that doesn't appear too "done." The result is a unique, edgy style that is anything but ordinary. Check out Teresa's before and after photos below.
