How-To: Braided Beachy Waves and Blowout for Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge

"Real Housewives of Orange County" star Tamra Judge had a press day in NYC, also appearing on Bravo’s "Watch What Happens Live." For her press day in NYC, celebrity hairstylist Julius Michael (@juliusmichael1) created two different hair styles: braided beachy waves and a bombshell blowout.  Below, Michael shares a tutorial for how he styled Judge for WWHL and her NYC press day using tools from SUTRA Beauty, including the brand's Thermal Styling Brush and Interchangeable Spring Curler Set.

Braided Beachy Waves Tutorial 

1. For Tamra's WWHL look, I braided the crown of her hair to create a fun, modern style.
2. I used my SUTRA Infrared Thermal Styling Brush to smooth out her hair extensions and my SUTRA Interchangeable Spring Curler Set to create soft beach waves. I used two different barrel sizes (1" and 1¼") to give dimension and movement.
3. After wrapping small sections of hair around the curling iron barrel, I did a soft brush-out and used my VOLOOM 2.0 Rootie Hair Volumizing Iron on her roots to create volume and lift without the damage that comes from teasing.
4. I then used my VOLOOM throughout the entire hairstyle, focusing on the mid-shaft and ends to create texture and volume. I used minimal styling products, letting my tools do all the work.
