At the tour's first event in Chicago, I had the opportunity to meet Nina Muresan (@hair.and.nina). Her passion for the industry is palpable, and her talent is undeniable — In 2023, she won the award for Intricate Braiding at the Beyond the Ponytail Styling Awards. 1. Building people's confidence

I just love this! You probably hear this a lot from hairstylists or makeup artists, but it’s so true! Seeing the genuine happiness on someone’s face after I’m done with their hair makes my whole day. When you hand them a mirror and you see that smile, that’s when you know you did a good job, and that feeling is just everything!
Brides can get really stressed and insecure about so many things leading to the big day, so to be able to give them the hair they’ve always dreamt of having is such a relief for both you and your bride.
2. Keeping myself challenged and seeing progress in my work

One thing about me is that I love challenges. When it comes to hair, they’re even more fun!! Extensions, texture spray, powders, wigs, hair pieces — you name it. Whatever we need to use to get what the client wants, we do.
I love going back to older pictures and comparing the now to then. Progress keeps you moving and wanting to grow more and more.
3. The bridal community

It's so amazing to me how social media created a bridal community that is almost like a family.
I meet great, amazing people in every job — from makeup artists to photographers, planners, florists and so on. There's so many wonderful human beings in the industry who always keep me inspired. I’m also learning so much from all my bridal artists friends on social media.
I try to go to as many in-person classes as I can because I love all their work. You can also truly learn something new every time. There’s always room for improving, learning more and bettering yourself and your skills. That’s what I love about this community: We inspire and learn from each other every time we get a chance.
4. People and my brides

I love working with people, being surrounded by good vibes and energy on a wedding day. Can anything beat that?

I always say I have the best job, and I mean it!
5. Creativity
