Begin with preparing a strong foundation, by applying Pureology Colour Stylist Lustrous Volumizer bodifying glaze to damp hair. Create a deep side part and blow dry with round brush for volume. Next, set hair with a 1 1/4 " curling iron moving away from the part at the top, and back away from the face on the right side.
Once cooled, brush out set thoroughly back on the right side behind the ear, and away from the part around the rest of the head. Push waves into place and secure with long sectioning clips and spray all over with Pureology Colour Stylist Supreme Control Hairspray. Allow to set for 10 minutes, and then remove clips. Spray one more time with Supreme Control to finish the look.

Create structure and hold by spraying Pureology Colour Stylist Root Lift spray hair mousse into damp hair, being sure to apply to the root area. Blow dry hair back and away from the face, lifting at the roots with a Denman brush. Set with a 1 1/2 " iron away from the face and down in the back.
Brush out and create side part. Apply a small amount of Pureology Colour Stylist Cuticle Polisher into palms and emulsify. Smooth hair back with hands into a not-too-tight ponytail at the nape. Backcomb the ponytail to create volume, smooth the surface lightly with brush, and roll up vertically. Pin inside the roll with a large bobby pin. Pull the roll apart to create a more natural finish, using hairpins to secure. Finish with Pureology Colour Stylist Strengthening Control Hairspray zero dulling hairspray.--Ruth Roche
