Tooth gems are yet just another Y2K trend that has found itself resurfacing in recent years.

The trend, popularized in the '90s, calls for decorating the teeth with crystals, rhinestones or even diamonds. While some individuals have tried to DIY this trend, professionals say this is dangerous.
