Milan Fashion Week: Turban-Twisted Ponytails at Missoni by Paul Hanlon

In a collection that was all-out feminine, comprising multiple floral prints and embellishments, lightweight fabrics and porcelain colors, Angela Missoni counteracted her Missoni S/S 15 collection with languid layers that felt sensual, subtly sexy and altogether happy. The house’s signature knitted stripes and geos were peppered throughout the looks on empire line dresses and relaxed slim trousers, but it was the overall silhouette – layered with large yet lightweight pieces - that sent a strong message.

To complement the spring/summer Missoni collection, Paul Hanlon at Julian Watson Agency for Moroccanoil created super-sleek ponytails with a feminine turban twist. Paul incorporated the signature striped and geometric patterns from the collection in each of the silk scarves for a sensual and sexy style.
