V76.com Receives Prestigious Award from Renowned Panel

V76 by Vaughn’s website, V76.com, recently won “Site of the Day” by the Awwwards Jury, a panel of expert and renowned designers, bloggers and agencies. The award and scoring system is based on a number of criteria including design, usability, creativity, innovation and content. The V76 website was designed to offer a clean, simple aesthetic and an enhanced user experience while also spotlighting the brand’s voice and personality within the men’s grooming space. The Awwwards website is spotlighting V76.com Monday, August 18, 2014, and will feature the site in its annual The Best 365 Websites Around The World, an inspiring hardcover book for art directors, designers and web developers that is complemented by an interactive app for a unique reading experience.

V76’s website takes a sophisticated yet uncomplicated approach to making grooming accessible to all men. “In building V76.com we wanted to create a truly immersive cross-platform user experience, allowing visitors to delve deep into the world of men’s grooming - Vaughn’s world,” said Sasha Kadey, Vice President of Digital Marketing for Luxury Brand Partners. Along with showcasing the V76 line of hair, face, shave and body products, the site highlights real “Men of Style,” sharing their stories and offering tutorials on how to achieve their looks. “The Lookbook is truly innovative,” Kadey continued. “Guided by the belief that most men don’t want to look at professional models, we opted to feature real guys from all different walks of life”

The V76 Well Groomed blog takes it one step further, giving stylists and consumers access to features on top barbers and men’s groomers across the country; interviews with interesting guys from worlds ranging from music and sports to design and automotive, who give us a rare glimpse into their everyday lives and style sensibilities; and general grooming tips from Vaughn and the V76 Education Team.

“V76.com is a portal of information where guys can go to learn and engage with the brand,” said V76 by Vaughn founder Vaughn Acord. “The website tells a story and helps to define who the V76 man is…whether he’s a shirt-maker, racecar driver, interior designer, barber or any guy who has an individual sense of style. Our Lookbook provides a wide variety of styles — what other website has ‘models’ that come to life? — and offers information and step-by-step tutorials that allow customers to feel as though their stylist is right there with them.”
