Wella Announces Trend Vision Finalists

Fads come and go, but trends—they're the markers of today and tomorrow, the iconic standards that define an age for generations to come. And Wella Professionals USA have just helped this year's trends find a place for eternity by announcing the U.S. finalists of this year’s Wella Professionals Trend Vision Competition.
In this annual competition, stylists choose one of the trends created by Wella Professionals trend forecasters and by Global Creative Directors Josh Wood and Eugene Souleiman. This year’s trends—Nomad Couture, Techno Poetry, Midnight Stage and Nature’s Goddess--illustrate the modern woman in all her many facets and dimensions: urban, modern, self-confident and extroverted.
The finalists were selected by Wella Professionals top artists, Sonya & Christopher Dove, Aubrey Loots and Josh Banks. Finalists will attend the Trend Vision Awards in Toronto, Canada on October 4th, 2010 and compete for a chance to represent their country at the International Trend Vision Awards in Paris on November 5.

Stylists competed in one of two categories:
YOUNG TALENT: Open to hairdressers of 30 years of age or younger, this category honors the best in class interpretation of a Trend Vision 2010 trend that delivers an overall look.
