American Crew sponsors Duckie Brown’s fall/winter 2006 collection during Olympus Fashion Week in New York.
Designer: Duckie Brown
Products: American Crew
Menswear designer Duckie Brown presented his fall/winter 2006 collection at the legendary Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan. A New York landmark, the Carlyle is located on Madison Avenue, just steps away from Upper East Side galleries, boutiques and museums. Each of its 180 rooms and suites is appointed with the finest fabrics, rugs, boudoir chairs and Frette linens, so it made perfect sense that designers Steven Cox and Daniel Silver chose to present their collection, which mixed strict English tailoring with a wicked taste of darkness, there.
Key stylist Bok-Hee for American Crew wanted a look that was both clean and chic, yet still a “done do.” Her vision required a lot of product—she actually layered American Crew Citrus Mint Gel and American Crew Spray Gel, working it through the hair to create a kind of pompadour that was exactly right with the elegant collection, which featured hand-tailored garments in the best Italian cashmeres and woolens, and the darkest shades of gray, navy, brown, green and red.
