Scruples cofounder Jack Storey passes awayScruples Professional Salon Products announced today the passing of company cofounder Jack Storey, who died on April 10, 2018. 

Storey first broke into the beauty industry in 1960 when he worked as a distributor sales consultant for LaMaur while attending cosmetology school. He continued to rise in the ranks at the LaMaur Company and became the national sales manager of the salon division. In 1983, Jack and business partner Frank Liguori founded Scruples Professional Salon Products with a vision of professionalism and integrity, which continues to be the guiding principle of the business today.

Storey was inducted into the Professional Beauty Association's Hall of Leaders for his many contributions to the professional beauty industry at the 19th annual North American Hairstyling Awards in 2008.

Storey will be remembered for his immense kindness along with his devotion to professional hairdressers. Throughout his life, he worked tirelessly to put the needs of hairdressers first, providing them with the essential tools and resources to boost their success in the industry.
