Meghann Fahy’s signature Strawberry Blonde hair color stunned on the red carpet at the 2024 Primetime Emmys.
Celebrity Hair Colorist Matt Rez (@colorbymattrez) worked with Meghann Fahy to create her warm blonde look using his trademark Midlights technique.

How-To:
- Highlight all over using Moroccanoil Blonde Voyage Powder Lightener and Moroccanoil 10 Volume Developer. Allow the sections away from the face to lift to a level 8.5, and lift the face-framing sections and tipped-out ends to a soft level 9. The Moroccanoil Blonde Voyage Powder Lightener is a versatile and easy-to-use lightener, capable of achieving 9 levels of lift in a single application.
- In tandem with the highlights, mix 30 grams of Moroccanoil Color Rhapsody Clear Permanent Color with 3 grams of Moroccanoil Grey Color Infusion and Moroccanoil 10 Volume Developer for the midlights of the hair. The midlights should be finished processing and rinsed off at the same time as the highlights.
- Apply a root gloss, mixing 20 grams of 6n Dark Blonde Moroccanoil Color Calypso Demi-Permanent Cream Color and 2 grams of Moroccanoil Grey Color Infusion with Moroccanoil 5 Volume Developer. Leave this on the off-face framing hairline for 10 minutes, slowly stretching the color down to create softness at the root. The hairline should be applied last to remain brightest.
- Gloss the hair all over with Moroccanoil Color Calypso Demi-Permanent Glosses, Matt custom mixed 3 ounces of Moroccanoil Color Calypso Clear, 1 ounce of 10.21 Moroccanoil Color Calypso Lightest Iridescent Ash Blonde and 2 grams of 8.4 Moroccanoil Color Calypso Light Copper Blonde. Leave this on for 10 minutes total, rinsing only mid-lengths and ends of the hair after 5 minutes.
