What Not To Miss at ISSE 2015: A Cheat Sheet Guide

ISSE, the biggest beauty expo on the West Coast, is this weekend and the lineup is so exciting! Now is the time to make your list of what you need to do and see. If you're overwhelmed by all the awesome opportunities and don't know where to start with your schedule, here are my tips on what not to miss!

I'm thrilled to be joining 7 Beauty Influencers for the first ever ISSE Blogger Cafe to help vote for the best products at the show. "Best of Show" will be announced by celeb stylist Ted Gibson on Sunday, January 25 at Sevilla Nightclub.

Now, here is my cheat sheet! These are some of the highlights and events I plan to visit at the show:

Saturday:Have you ever wanted to be on the cover of Beauty Launchpad or NAILPRO? Here is your chance! Sunday:

10AM Center Stage: Leading styling talent Martin Parsons will guide you through the techniques to create beautiful Evening Glamour. (Also available Monday at 1:45)

11AM Center Stage: Ted Gibson will be presenting the latest celebrity hair trends on Center Stage. Ted has worked on the tresses of celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain to name a few. His work has appeared in publications including Vogue, Vanity Fair and many more, but you may know and love him best from TLC's "What Not to Wear"!

1PM and 3:45 NAHA Stage: Be sure to catch a presentation from Matrix Artistic Directors Chrystofer Benson and Nicholas French. These star stylists have 7 NAHA wins and their presentations are sure to be exhilarating and inspiring! Join Nicholas French for The Avant Garde Showcase at 1PM and Chrystofer Benson at 3:45 for Complimentary Hair Education.

2PM NAHA Stage: The Sassoon Academy presentation is always amazing! Check out this exclusive look at at the inspirations behind the new Spring/Summer 2015 Collection, presented by International Creative Director Mark Hayes and the Sassoon Creative Team.

Visit the Framar booth to meet color genius Guy Tang! There's a reason Guy Tang has over 400,000 followers on Instagram and if you've seen photos of his work you know why!

Monday:
9:45AM Cut, Color & Style Stage: Color Expert Beth Minardi will answer all your haircolor questions and share business tips!

12PM Center Stage: Be sure to catch Matrix Artistic Directors Chrystofer Benson and Nicholas French on Center Stage as they present their new Collection CONTRAST!

2PM: The ladies of Young Hollywood are everywhere and chances are some of your clients want to steal their style. The Sexy Hair Modern Hollywood Styling Collection has taken inspiration for the most sought after star styles. Dawn Atkinson, Rafe Hardy and Rod Sickler will show you how to make them accessible to every woman that sits in your chair.

There are so many fantastic speakers including Charlie Price, Steve Elias, Michael O'Rourke, Ammon Carver, Nick Arrojo, Allen Edwards, Lisa Yamasaki, Wayne Grund, Michael O'Rourke, Steve Elias, Palma N'Sheluvzit, Berry Bachen, DJ RIGGS, Ryan DeAnnaLyn Tealso and more so be sure to check the schedule to see which sessions interest you!

NAILS
Nail professionals: Head over to The Nail Spot, where all the nail events will be taking place including NAILPRO Competitions!

Sunday:Nail Industry icon Vicki Peters was an inspiration and mentor who will be dearly missed this year at ISSE. Vicki loved animal print so be sure to rock animal print on Sunday and stop by booth #1010 to pick up a Team Vicki pin!

2PM: Learn the fundamental basics of nail art design and become a Certified Orly Gel FX Instant Artist. Join this hands-on workshop with Sam Biddle, Orly International Ambassador. (Also available Monday 10AM)

Monday:
2PM: Celebrity nail stylist Adam Tran invites you to Think Outside the Box with this hands on workshop. Workshop includes a fun art kit! (Also available Sunday at 10AM)

4PM: Be sure to head over to the Seaside Ballroom for the NAILPRO Competitions Awards Ceremony and memorial for nail industry legend Vicki Peters.

SKIN
Head over to the EstheticsAmerica & Wellness Pavilion and check out the lineup of complimentary skin education HERE.

Sunday 2PM: Lydia Sarfati leads this this hands-on workshop that will help you learn the different facial massages.

Sunday 4PM: SAIAN co-founder Dasha Saian will be presenting a live demonstration of 3 clinical anti-aging breakthroughs, including the newest clinical facial procedure for lifting and firming the face and neck. Dasha will also be presenting on Hyperpigmentation Treatments on Monday at 2PM.

BUSINESS EDUCATION/EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:

Monday:
10AM Room Hyatt Seaview A: If you aren't using social media to increase your business or don't feel like you are using it effectively, this class is for you! Join social media expert Kelly Ehlers to find out how you can capitalize on social media networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

1PM: Looking for a job? PBA is hosting the first Career Fair at ISSE where you will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with representative from beauty companies, salons and spas about available openings.
