Celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson used his new product SHOOTING STAR TEXTURE MERENGUE to style Rachel Brosnahan, the Emmy-award-winning actress from the Amazon Prime show "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards.

When asked about dressing hair for the Emmys, Gibson said, “I think the Emmys are a great red-carpet event to get the most beautiful women in the world ready.” Ted then said this about creating tonight’s look for Brosnahan: “We wanted something cool and something chic, so a deep side part with a low slung chignon was the look of the moment for us."

He continued, "By using SHOOTING STAR TEXTURE MERENGUE as the amazing blow-drying agent I knew I would get fullness, volume and great shine. After the blowout I flat ironed her entire head with 1 inch sections. Next, I pulled everything back into a low ponytail. I didn’t want a basic bun in the back, so I created a modern, architectural shape. For the finishing touch, I followed up with L’OREAL Elnett hairspray. At the last minute, I wanted to take it a step further so I used 7 Bobby pins as an accent to give it a cool, young Hollywood vibe!"
