A hair color trend we’re seeing for summer includes a popular style known as "Barbie Blonde," which features a light blonde shade with a subtle, softened root color. To get the look at home, try IGK Permanent Color Kit in "Blond-Matic.” To maintain your blonde and neutralize brassiness, reach for IGK’s L.A. Blonde Purple Toning Treatment Spray. — Chase Kusero, Colorist and Co-founder of IGK Hair Care (@chasehair)

Another trend is the "Midnight Onyx" look, which involves a deep brown shade that appears almost black, with no discernible red undertones. To get this look, try IGK Permanent Color Kits in “Volcanic" or "Fall for Me.”— Chase Kusero

Haze Platinum Blonde

Haze Platinum Blonde is the lightest of light blonde hair. The hue itself is very delicate because it’s not cool or warm, it’s in between. You have to retouch the roots every 5-6 weeks for consistent blond perfection. This haze tone complements a warm skin tone and light eye level. It’s a statement look. Use a great toning mask like R+Co SUNSET BLVD Blonde Toning Masque to combat yellow, brassy tones and to nourish locks once or twice a week. — Richy Kandasamy, Colorist and R+Co Collective Member (@richykanda)

Fauna Brunette

Fauna Brunette will turn heads as a moody, dimensional light brown. It’s a very pearly, rich brown that reflects light. This color looks best if you’re already a brunette, but just looking to go a shade or two lighter. It has no warm hues and is a cool brunette shade, but with a lot of shine. It’s more like a timeless brunette. — Richy Kandasamy

Brown Bunny

Brown Bunny is a very delicate shade of brunette. It’s not black or dark brown or even light brown, it’s right in the middle a medium, neutral brown. If you have a fairer or a cool olive complexion and deep eyes, this color is for you. I love this soft, matte cool brown. It's super soft and neutral. This color helps the hair and skin tone almost melt together. It’s a perfect summer color if you get a little tan. To maintain this color, use R+Co GEMSTONE Color Shampoo and Conditioner, plus the TWO-WAY Mirror Smoothing Oil, so you get polished strands and that look lustrous without weighing the hair down. —  Richy Kandasamy
