If you are searching for some last minute hair inspo for your costume, celebrity hairstylist Graham Nation (@grahamnation) has you covered! He's sharing his step-by-step tutorial for creating singer Christina Aguilera's high-braided ponytail using products from Sexy Hair.
How-To:
- Apply Blow Dry Volumizing Gel from mid-lengths to ends.
- Subdivide hair & blow dry. Pro Tip: Flatiron for added smoothness.
- Apply Big Altitude Blow Dry Mousse on root to create satin shine.
- Smooth hair into a ponytail. Pro Tip: Clip a paper towel below the ponytail to protect from frizz.
- Brush Big Altitude Blow Dry Mousse into the front pieces of the hair and secure into a ponytail.
- Smooth flyaways with Spray & Play Harder on a detailing brush.
- Use Polished Up Pomade for control & shine when braiding. Pro Tip: Leave hair out to wrap around the base of the braid later.
- Add pre-stretched braiding hair midway down for extra length.
- Spray the isolated hair with Spray & Play Harder, wrap around the braid. Pro Tip: Dip the braid into a bowl of hot water to tame flyaways and smooth the ends.
- Apply Big Altitude Blow Dry Mousse to the braid and finish with Spray & Play Harder.
