In this creative collaboration, the John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS) artistic team explores themes of connection and disconnection in hair cuts, as well as contrasts and intersections in hair color. JPMS tasked educators from across the globe—Taiwan, Germany and the United States of America—to conceptualize these seemingly contending forces in the form of hair trends in their respective nations. The result? Looks that are wholly unique, but unified in their embrace of contrasts.
