The Inspiration: “I liked the idea of a no-volume, grunge look. It’s the epitome of New York cool,” says Paul. “The end hair look was quintessentially unified with the overall show, which is always very important to me.”
The Hero Products: Bb. Gel. “It’s very flexible, which is important for fashion shows in case the idea has to change,” he says. “I put the gel on the top of the head to keep the style very flat. I wanted it slightly wet, and a little stiff; the ends I like a little crispy. ... [The gel] adds an urban, big-city girl rushing around feel that looks really great.”
