The Inspiration: “Great expectations—Bibhu told me he was inspired by the mother-daughter collaboration and relationship. The mother gives this great strength to her daughter, and her daughter takes that at finds her own style. Translating that to the hair, I wanted a look that’s not too contrived,” says James.
The Hero Product: FHI Heat Platform Professional Curling Iron 1¼”. “We’re creating more of an ‘undressed’ wave with this, leaving the ends free. You twist the section as you wind it around the barrel,” says James.
