Haircolor How To: Auburn Waves by Jason Backe

Earlier this week, L’Oréal Professionnel colorist and president and CEO of Ted Gibson Beauty, Jason Backe completed an incredible hair transformation on Good Morning America. Inspired by Pantone's Color of the Year 2015, Marsala, Backe transformed finance professional Carolyn Harbaugh’s hair from dull blonde, to rich, reddish auburn in just twenty five minutes.

To get her new color, Backe applied L’Oréal Professionnel Dia Richesse Demi-Permanent Haircolor, using equal parts 6.40 and 6.3 with 15 volume on new hair growth, and 6.40 equal to 7.43 with 15 volume from mids to ends. Her hair was then left to process for 15 minutes before styling.
