At Betsey Johnson models sported exaggerated beehives and side parts with bangs swept over one eye. Key stylist Italo for Redken actually anchored hairpieces to the top of the head to add volume. His inspiration: the 1960s, of course, when beehives were all the rage.
CND’s Team Red was on hand to apply several shades of Heiress, a purple nail polish from its Fall 2005 collection. “Think ‘60s hookers,” says CND's Jan Arnold with a laugh.
Meanwhile, makeup artist Fulvia for Cargo lined the eyes with royal blue liquid liner and applied a hot pink shade of lipstick called Big Sur.
