The Inspiration: A little bit ’80s and ’90s punk, just like Nicole Miller. “One of the looks has the texture of women’s hair in New York City when they were coming in and out of nightclubs. It’s a very roughed-up texture—a little on the dirtier side, but still with polish,” Hoang says.
The Hero Products: Oribe Mystify Restyling Spray. “It’s heat-resistant, and we’re spraying it all over,” he says. “We’re also using it to help shape curls. It gives a rounder shape.”
